Coronavirus is one of the most dangerous viruses that is affecting thousands of people across the world today. The virus is very threatening to anyone who has a precondition illness that has a weak immune system. The virus attacks our upper respiratory system, which affects our lungs, and once the Coronavirus gets into our lungs, we will experience shortness of breath or trouble breathing. We will also experience a cough and a fever. The majority of the people who died on this virus are the elderly (65 years old and older) because they have a weaker immune system and have precondition illnesses.
What is Coronavirus? Coronavirus is a living microorganism that survives in a host, whether that would be a human being or an animal. It travels from person to person through respiratory droplets produced when an infected person coughs or sneezes. It also may be possible that a person can get Coronavirus by touching a surface or object that has the virus on it and then touching their own mouth, nose, or possibly their eyes. The Coronavirus can live for three days on some surface, like plastic and steel.
Washing our hands with soap is the best way to protect ourselves from this virus. In addition, isolation or staying home without any contact from our friends is one of the ways to help not spread the virus. If we have a feverish feeling, coughing, or sneezing, it is better to isolate ourselves because we may have the virus and pass it along to our friends and the elderly in their homes. Let us think about others during this time. We don't want to be a person that causes another person to get sick.
I know that it is boring or annoying to be inside your home all day, but this is only temporary until the virus subsided in infecting people. At this time, we are still in the middle of it. If you need to go outside, you need to be at least six feet away from a person so that if he/she sneezes or coughs, you are far enough not to get his/her respiratory droplets. You need to wash your hands with soap thoroughly before you touch your mouth and eyes in case you touch something that has the virus on it.
When God created the world, he created everything, including all the microorganisms, such as bacterias and viruses. Everything that God created was good. Before Adam sinned in the garden of Eden, all God's creations are in perfect harmony. There was no sickness and death. However, when Adam sinned, death came into the world, and suffering and diseases began. Just as we kill animals to survive, so as the bacterias and viruses have to harm other species to survive. The Bible says that all creation is groaning for the return of our Lord Jesus because when he comes back, He will restore all things (Romans 8:19-23).
In spite of all the things that are going on in Coronavirus around the world today, we know that God is in control. He always takes care of His children. He will never abandon us because His love for us is eternal. No matter what happens to us, we have eternal life through our Lord Jesus. Our body may decay, but our spirits will live on with our God.
I want to encourage all of us to not worry about the Coronavirus, but we have to follow all the precautions that the government is advising us to do. Let us not be careless that we may contract the virus and pass it on to the people that we love, especially our grandparents. We may have a strong immune system to fight off the Coronavirus in our bodies, but we can still pass it on to others who may have a weak immune system.
Ask yourself these questions: what can I do to protect myself and others from being infected with Coronavirus? How does Coronavirus spread from person to person? Was the Coronavirus harmful before Adam sinned? Why?
Write down the problems that you are facing today and lift them up to God.

Father in Heaven, thank you for loving me. Thank you that I have an eternal life through my Lord Jesus Christ. No matter what happens to me, I will always be with you.
