Faithfulness is one of the wonderful characters of God. He is faithful to fulfill all His promises that are written in His word. He is going to do what He says He will do. He does not change His mind no matter what the circumstances are. For example, He promised us that He is going to strengthen and protect us from the evil one. God is always there to strengthen us when we are weak. Sometimes we go through difficult circumstances, and we feel like that we do not have the strength to face it, but when we put our trust in the Lord, He is always there to encourage us with His promises.
It is the same way when we are facing dangerous situations. He promised us that He would protect us from the evil one. It does not mean that we will never suffer from dangerous situations, but God will be there with us when we face dangerous situations. There is nothing that will happen to us without going through His hands, and the things that He allows in our lives, He has a purpose and plan. Sometimes, we don't understand why He is letting us go through certain situations, but God is in control, and He is always faithful.
When we are discouraged in our situations, always remember that God is faithful in our lives. He will never leave us nor forsake us. He is always with us in every situation in our lives. When we are sad and confused, He is there to cheer us up and give us direction. When we are afraid, He is there to encourage us. When we are in pain and sick, he is there to comfort us. There is not a moment that God is not with us. Even when we sin and make mistakes, He is there to forgive us of our sin if we confess our sin to Him. Never be afraid to face tomorrow because God will always be with us.
There are times that we are concerned about our future because it is unknown to us. We look at ourselves, and we feel like that we will never measure up, or we feel like we do not have what it takes to be successful, but God is reminding us today that God is the one who is going to help us to face tomorrow. We will never be alone because God will always be faithful in our lives.
Ask yourself these questions: Do you believe in your heart that God is faithful to you? Should you have confidence in facing tomorrow if you believe that God is faithful to you?
Write down all the worries that you are facing today and lift them up to God.
Prayer:
Father in heaven, thank you that you are always faithful in my life. Thank you that you will always be there for me. Help me not to be fearful about tomorrow, but to be courageous in facing the future because you will always be faithful to be there for me. Give me confidence and wisdom to do the things that you want me to do and help me to always trust in you. May you help me now with my (mention your prayer requests). In the name of Jesus, I pray. Amen.
