God desires to walk with us daily, to guide us, and to give us the strength and resources that we need. However, it is our choice whether to walk with Him or not. Noah is a great example for us who walk with God daily. Genesis 6:9 says, "This is the account of Noah and his family. Noah was a righteous man, blameless among the people of his time, and he walked faithfully with God." Even though Noah was living in a very sinful environment, He chose to walk with God. Walking with God means we are living our faith in God in whatever we are and whatever situation we are in. It means that we do not compartmentalize our lives between our faith in God and what we do in this world. For example, many people will go to church on Sunday, but Monday through Saturday, they live an ungodly lifestyle. They speak and behave as the unbelievers speak. They try to fit into this world to be accepted rather than walking with God. They are embarrassed about their faith in God; however, when Sunday comes around, they will behave as if they have been walking with God.
God sees everything we do and knows every motive of our hearts. He wants us to walk with Him wherever we go to give us peace and assurance that He is with us. The purpose of this devotion is not to put guilt in our hearts but to encourage us to walk with our God daily. God loves us so much that He always wants to be with us. God knows that we cannot do anything apart from Him. He wants us to rely on Him all the time in every area of our lives, including our weaknesses, struggles, and addictions. It grieves God when we choose to leave Him behind so that we can do whatever we want. Noah and his family were protected from the worldwide flood that destroyed the world, including the people and animals of this world. God was able to guide Noah and use his life to save himself and his family because Noah chose to walk with God daily.
We need to walk with God daily. Let us express our faith in God in our work, school, and home. Let our friends, classmates, and coworkers see our faith in God. Let us stop trying to fit into this world to be accepted and continue to walk with God. Let others see our relationship with God through the way we talk and behave, for when we walk with God, He blesses our lives immeasurably.

Do I walk with God daily? Are there any challenges that I have in walking with God daily? If there are, what are they?
Take a moment to write down all your worries today. Then, lift them up to God in prayer, surrendering them to His will and trusting in His guidance.
Prayer:
Dear Father in Heaven, thank you for your desire to walk with me daily to guide and bless my life. I understand that it is a choice that I make to walk with you. Please help me to walk with you always, wherever I am or whatever I am doing. Please help me not to be shy about walking with you in front of my friends, family, classmates, and coworkers. Let them see through the way I talk and behave that I am walking with you. In your name, Jesus, I pray. Amen.
