The God who created everything knows everything that we need and want. He knows when we are hungry, thirsty, or in need of something. Since God knows our needs, He can provide them for us. He gives us the sun during the day so that we can be warmed. He gives us the air so that we can breathe. He provides us the moon and the stars at night so that we can see at night. He is the one who gives us shelter and clothes. He is the one who provides the opportunity to go to school and work.
There was a man named Mueller who was serving God in England. He took care of many orphan children who were abandoned by their parents because they couldn’t take care of them. One day, they ran out of food for breakfast, and the children needed to eat before they went to school. Mueller and the children prayed to God that He would provide them their food for that morning. While they were praying, there was a knock at the door. It was a baker, and said, “Mr. Muller, I couldn’t sleep last night. Somehow I felt you didn’t have bread for breakfast, and the Lord wanted me to send you some. So I got up at 2 a.m. and baked some fresh bread, and have brought it.” Mr. Muller thanked the baker. Right after the baker left, there was a second knock at the door. It was a milkman. He announced that his milk cart had broken down right in front of the orphanage, and he would like to give the children his bottles of fresh milk so he could empty his wagon and repair it.” God miraculously provided bread and milk to the children that morning.
Let us not worry when we need something. God can provide our needs according to His riches in glory. Remember that God owns everything because He created everything. We just need to trust and ask God for our needs. We can ask Him for anything, for there is nothing too small or too big that He cannot provide. We just need to ask Him by faith and be specific. Lastly, always remember that God will only provide us everything that we ask Him that is according to His will. If we are asking him to provide us something that is not in His will, then He will not provide it to us. However, He will provide us something better than what we are asking Him because He loves us.
Ask yourself these questions: Do you truly believe in your heart that God can provide for all your needs? If not, why do you doubt His provision? What do you think if God does not give you what you are asking him to give you?
List of the things that you need no matter how big or small they are. Ask God specifically for all of them.
Prayer:
Our Heavenly Father, thank you for being my provider. You know my needs before I ask you to help. Please help me to trust you. I know that you created everything and you can provide everything that I need, but I also know that you provide my needs according to your will. Help me to always be thankful for your kindness in my life. I pray now that you will provide for (mentioned your needs). I ask all these things in the name of Jesus, my Lord, Amen.
