I HAVE GOD IN ME

Spiritual warfare is something that every Christian goes through. Spiritual warfare is when we deal with and fight Satan and his demons in the spiritual realm. Ephesians 6:12 says, "For we are not fighting against flesh-and-blood enemies, but against evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against mighty powers in this dark world, and against evil spirits in the heavenly places." We have never seen Satan and his demons, but we can see the effect of what they do around us. All the violence and sin are influenced by Satan and his demons. They are active in tempting our flesh to sin against God. Galatians 5:19-21 say, "Now the works of the flesh are evident: sexual immorality, impurity, sensuality, idolatry, sorcery, enmity, strife, jealousy, fits of anger, rivalries, dissensions, divisions, envy, drunkenness, orgies, and things like these. I warn you, as I warned you before, that those who do such things will not inherit the kingdom of God." They put fear and lies in our minds to try to doubt the power of God that is at work within us.

However, we need to be encouraged because we have our God in us. We have the power to say no to the lies and temptations of Satan and his demons throw at us. Satan and his demons may use persecution, but they can never overcome us. While Satan and his demons are active in deceiving many people, especially the unbelievers, we have God's truth. Our weapon against Satan and his demons is God's word, our sword of the Spirit (Ephesians 6:17). The only way we can defeat Satan and his demons are through the power of God's word. When we read, study, and believe the Word of God, we are protected from the enemies' deception and lies.

Let us put our confidence in God because He is in us. He is stronger than Satan and any evil spirits. Let us continue to know the Word of God and the promises of God in us. Our daily devotion is one of the ways to know God's truth, so let us continue to read and meditate on the verses in our daily devotion. Let us reject all the lies and fears the enemies put in our minds and believe what God says about us in our hearts.

Ask yourself these questions: What is spiritual warfare? Who is my ultimate enemy? How do I defeat Satan in my mind?

Write down all the worries you face today and lift them up to God.

Prayer:

Father in Heaven, I thank and praise you for having you in me. I am never alone because You are always with me wherever I go. Please help me not to believe in the lies of Satan. Please help me not give in to fear but put my confidence in your truth. In your name Jesus, I pray. Amen.
