Jesus is not coming for the second time to save people from their sins, but He will come to judge the unbelievers and those who pretend to believe in God. But we who genuinely believe in Jesus and have surrendered our hearts to God will rejoice with Him because He will restore everything and reign on this earth for one thousand years. When Jesus comes after the seven-year tribulation, Jesus will bound Satan for one thousand years while Jesus reigns on this earth. However, after one thousand years, Jesus will release Satan again, and He will deceive many people on this earth to fight against Jesus once and for all. Jesus will finally defeat and judge Satan and all those who followed him to eternal condemnation in hell. Anyone whose name is not written on the book of life will be thrown in the lake of fire forever together with Satan and his demons. (Revelation 20:7-15).
Jesus said, "Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away. But about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in Heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father. Be on guard! Be alert! You do not know when that time will come. It's like a man going away: He leaves his house and puts his servants in charge, each with their assigned task, and tells the one at the door to keep watch. Therefore keep watch because you do not know when the owner of the house will come back—whether in the evening, or at midnight, or when the rooster crows, or at dawn. If he comes suddenly, do not let him find you sleeping. What I say to you, I say to everyone: 'Watch!'" (Mark 13:31-37).
Jesus specifically said that no one knows when He will return. Only our Father in Heaven knows. So when we hear from people that they figure out when Jesus comes back, they are lying and confused. We need to be serious about our walk with Jesus every day. When it is time for Jesus to take us to be with Him, there will never be a second chance. If we do not completely surrender our hearts to Jesus, now is the time to get serious with Him. We need to start reading the Bible, praying, and going to Bible fellowship and church so we can be encouraged to continue walking with Jesus. If we are still looking for satisfaction in this world, we will only be disappointed because Jesus is coming back.
Ask yourself these questions: Do I believe what the Bible says that Jesus will return to judge this earth? How should I live knowing that Jesus will return at any time? How can I be sure that I am saved? What is the Bible says about how I can be saved?
Write down all the worries you face today and lift them up to God.
Prayer:
Father in Heaven, I pray that those who still have not completely surrendered their lives to you will take you seriously because you will return to judge this world in a matter of time. I pray for the spiritual revival of each of us that you will give us a love for you. I pray for a genuine heart for you. Would you please stir my heart towards you and away from the lure and temptations of this world? In Your name Jesus, I pray. Amen.
