UNCONDITIONAL LOVE

Our Heavenly Father’s love towards our Lord Jesus is perfect, pure, and holy. No greater love has ever existed than the love of our Heavenly Father towards His Son Jesus Christ. Their love for each other is infinite, consistent, and unbreakable. The same love that our Heavenly Father has towards our Lord Jesus is the same love that He has for us. Our Lord Jesus’ love for us is perfect, pure, and holy. His love for us is always the same, no matter what situations we are in.

His love for us is always to the fullest. He never loves us less, even when we disobey Him. We grieve the Spirit of God when we sin against Him, but His love for us never changes because His love is unconditional. He loves us even when we don’t feel loved. This is the reason He has a beautiful plan in our lives and wants to guide and encourage us to do the right thing because He wants us to have a good and godly life. Jesus showed His love for us when He sacrificed His very own life on the cross. There is nothing that He is not willing to do to save us and to be with Him. As a matter of fact, He is building a new place for us, called Heaven.

As a response to our Lord Jesus’ love for us, we need to abide or remain in His love. To remain in His love means to live our lives daily in loving God with our actions and attitudes. The most common mistake that Christian people have is that they obey Jesus to be accepted by Him, but the truth is that Jesus already accepted them when they believed in Him. We obey Jesus because we love Him. We serve people because we love Him, we go to church because we love Him, we study His word and pray every day because we love Him, and we sing praise and worship songs to Him because we love Him. Everything that we do is to love Him because He loves us first. God would do anything for us, and there is nothing that can separate us from His love. He will be with us no matter what circumstances or difficulties we may have because He always loves us to the fullest.

Ask yourself these questions: How strong is the love of God towards me? Does God still love me when I sin against Him? If He still loves me when I sin, is that mean that He is encouraging me to sin? How does God want me to live my life?

Prayer:

Father in Heaven, thank you for loving me. Thank you for sending your Son, Jesus Christ, to save me from my sin. Lord Jesus, thank you for loving me and giving your life for me so that I can be forgiven of my sin and have eternal life. Please help me to remain in your love, even when I feel lost. Teach me to love you with my actions and attitudes. Help me to love you in everything that I do. Please help me with (mention your prayer requests). In the name of Jesus, I pray. Amen.
